Fairmont to Debut Sexy New Toiletries from Le Labo in December

There's been a lot of movement on the Hotel Toiletries front this year (Yes, we realize how geeky that sounds) but guests at Fairmont Hotels and Resorts are going to be smelling much sexier come December when Fairmont unveils their new toiletries from Le Labo, a New York-based fragrance line known for their handmade aromas and original custom scents.

Le Labo indeed put their creativity to good work here, creating a custom amenity line for Fairmont hotels which will be available in all 64 properties worldwide.

You may have seen Le Labo in boutique properties before (like Gramercy Park Hotel) and you certainly smelled them if you've stayed at a Le Meridien Hotel before (they did the hotel brand's signature LM01 scent) but this is the first time Le Labo has worked with such a big brand.

The scent is called Rose 31 and it's described as a "light rose" scent but we found it to be a musky scent rather than a floral one. Which means dudes can definitely feel no shame in stashing these babies in their suitcases after checking out. The scent also felt/smelt quite urban and cosmopolitan. We got a little homesick for New York after rubbing on the body lotion, specifically for the streets of Soho on a cool fall morning with an important morning meeting to attend. (Sorry for that. Blame it on the Rose 31.)

But we liked the playful copy on the bottles the best. For instance, on the body lotion bottle it says, "For better results, have someone else apply it on you." On the body bar: "Juicy moisturizing soap for body and soul." Shampoo: "....this shampoo will wash your hair. And moisturize it. And make it smell wonderful. And make you look beautiful. And that's it."

But the naughtiest is reserved for the body gel: "...this shower gel cleans the body as long as you take a shower by yourself. If not, it only cleans the body." Sassy! We just hope your children don't have any desire to read the toiletry bottles.
