Guess The Creepy Hotel Vase

October 7, 2011 at 10:21 AM | by | Comments (4)

In honor of Halloween (which is only three weeks away!), we thought we'd find something suitably frightening for this week's Guess The Hotel. And when we spotted this creepy vase during a recent hotel tour, we were admittedly a little spooked.

Perched up on a window sill with nothing else around it, the vase is located in a room that doesn't get much use (there's your first hint). Which is better actually, because whether we're sleeping, eating, brushing our teeth or doing yoga (well, especially sleeping), we'd prefer it if this ghostly face wasn't peering at us from the haze of another dimension.

Believe it or not, there is actually another hotel that creeped us out once before with similar doll-like faces pinned up on the wall. It wasn't a great look then, and it's certainly not now either.

Other things to keep in mind about the vase hotel in question:

· The hotel's various outlets have the facilities to pamper all aspects of your ensemble—from your head to your feet.

· Renovations were made on the historic hotel in the past decade.

· The hotel has a one-syllable name and a similarly short distance to a nearby park.

Got any clue yet as to what hotel we're talking about? Give us your best shot in the comments below!

And check back on Monday to see the creepy vase hotel revealed!

My guess would be...

Looks like the sirens you see at the Mondrian Miami in South Beach!

Looks Familiar...

This is the same print/wallpaper that is in the inside the closets of the Cosmo in Vegas.  Why is this creepy face showing up so much lately?

i know why

It's a Fornasetti vase! That's kinda their style. I love Fornasetti rugs, but you won't catch a hotel spending $$$$ on those when they can just buy the vases or plates to look cultured.

Mondrian Soho?

Mondrian loves their creepy faces and that soo looks like the Mondrian Soho room.
