Capella Georgetown Set to Open in December 2012 (with Personal Assistants!)
The posh nabe of Georgetown in Washington, D.C. is about to get even more swish in December 2012 when the Capella Georgetown opens. Yes, Capella of the luxury hotel collection, Capella Hotels and Resorts.
Now, we know how much political leaders love their fine hotel accommodations and the Capella Georgetown, at 1050 31st Street, NW, will not disappoint. According to a press release, the hotel will feature just 49 "magnificently appointed rooms and suites in a highly private and secure environment, and will provide unmatched levels of customer service and room finishes."
Additionally, the hotel promises to cater to "a sophisticated and discerning clientele including global industry leaders, heads of state and other visitors."
Interiors are being designed by interiors architect Peter Shilling & Associates and will also include a signature restaurant and bar with outdoor seating overlooking the Potomac River. There will also be a spa (guests only of course) and a fitness center along with the services of personal assistants, luxury car rides, 24-hour room service and a private wine cellar for intimate events.
No word on how much the rooms here will cost but it's ok because the people will be paying for it anyways. Kidding! Kinda. But we will guesstimate $500 a night.
