The Catalina Hotel & Beach Club is the host hotel for the festival, and is well-placed for anyone who needs a base they won't necessarily sleep in.
They're offering special packages that start at $189 a night (for three nights; staying less will cost a bit more) and include complimentary access to VIP Oxygen Bar Lounge for the Sleepless Night parties, free meals at the hotel's restaurants Maxine's Bistro and Kung Fu Sushi, and--to make sure you don't nod off--an Energy Welcome Cocktail upon arrival and a welcome in-room caffeinated gift basket.
Meanwhile, down at Lords South Beach, artwork from Ricardo Bellino will be the star of an 'all-nighter' that kicks off at 9 p.m. on Saturday. Nespresso will host a pop-up lounge on the hotel's porch and there'll be an auction of Bellino's portrait of Elizabeth Taylor on the night. (In case you want your own home to look like an 'ultra-gay hotel'.)
We're sure other hotels in SoBe will be promoting Sleepless Night, too. After all, what a concept--no slept-in beds for Housekeeping to worry about!
