Hotel Gift Cards Are So Last Decade, This Year it's All About the eCard

We know, we know. It's not even Halloween yet so you don't want to hear about holiday gift ideas until at least mid-November but we can't help ourselves. We're in a holiday mood! Probably because Mandarin Oriental Hotels have just announced their eGift Cards.

It was only last year that MO even began offering a hotel gift card but this year they're going the extra mile with the eGift Cards, "perfect for last minute shoppers" i.e. us. The cards can hold from $50 to $5,000, in any denomination, and can be sent via email "anywhere around the world." (Yes, Virginia, that is how email works.)

The cards can also be personalized with a message and a choice of MO designs (fun-themed fans, a flute of champagne or a "Spaaah" slogan.) The one catch is that the eGift Card orders must have a US billing address. So Santa baby, hurry down the chimney with a Mandarin Oriental gift card for HotelChatter tonight?
