The May Fair London is missing something very near and dear to their hearts, and they'd like to know if you can help them out for the reward of a big bottle of champagne.

It seems that one of the unofficial mascots of The May Fair Bar has been stolen! He's a little black sheep named Bertie, a piece of furniture that apparently delighted one local drinker so much that they decided to take him home. Now, guests steal a lot from hotels, we know, but taking a major piece from the public spaces? That's a new level of low; now other visitors won't get the chance to smile at Bertie or prop up their feet on his shaggy back.

The May Fair is naturally desperate for his return, and they posted a flyer to Twitter earlier this morning requesting his safe return or any leads as to his whereabouts. The may have caught the perpetrators on camera, but in a city as big as London, a black sheep doesn't stand out so much.

Have you seen Bertie? Check out the full flyer, complete with contact details:

Coincidentally, this is not the first time a hotel has lost their sheep. Remember when the Custom Hotel in Los Angeles lost Little Pepper? Sounds like there's a real disturbed person out there stealing hotel sheep.
