If this cold weather has you craving a trip to Vail to hit the slopes, you won't be able to shack up at the Vail Plaza Hotel & Club. The hotel has been converted into the Sebastian Vail.

But the boutique hotel is still open for business, and it offers some new features, including a new signature restaurant, bar and spa. That is, just in case you want some post-ski noshing or pampering.

Block 16 is a restaurant that draws inspiration from Napa Valley. The restaurant serves farm-to-table cuisine with seasonal, local, organic ingredients. It also features a 1,000-bottle wine silo. If you want to do some more imbibing, the bar Frost, which features a special Scotch collection. On the weekends, the bar has live music.

The new Bloom Spa offers therapies, facials, nail services. A pop-up spa also roves around the hotel. You don't need a reservation. Instead, you just put your name on the waiting list, sip hot chocolate and get a foot massage.

If you want to try out the newly rebranded resort, rooms start at $295 a night.
