Which Hotels Will Be The First On The NYC Scene In 2011?

The Nolitan.

One of our favorite parts of a brand new year ahead of us? A clean slate of new hotel openings! We thought 2010 was a banner year for new properties in New York City, but 2011 is already looking like it will keep pace.

As you settle back into work and all those resolutions today, keep these hot NYC hotels in mind for your next stay ...

NYC HOTELS OPENING IN EARLY 2011

· The Nolitan: The online rezzie system has rooms from February 15, but reps tell us the opening date is still February 1.

· Mondrian New York: Also slated for February, and just a short stroll away from The Nolitan.

· Aloft Brooklyn: The website says it's now opening March 31, but based on the drawn-out process of sister hotel Aloft Harlem, we'd take this date with a grain of salt.

· The Sanctuary Hotel New York: Looks like those renos of the Portland Square Hotel are taking longer than expected. It's not slipping into its new identity, The Sanctuary, until the spring.

· Dream Downtown: Last we heard, it was scheduled for a Memorial Day weekend debut.
