Where Green Bay and Pittsburgh Fans Get Still Get Rooms for Super Bowl XLV

Know of a hotel room open for Super Bowl? Tell us where right here.

The two teams for Super Bowl XLV have been set and the Green Bay Packers will be shacking up at the Omni Mandalay while the Pittsburgh Steelers will be shacking up at the Omni Fort Worth. But if you're a Packers or a Steelers fan, where do you stay?

Well, your best bet for finding hotels with availability is to start looking for a four-night stay from February 3-February 7 which is the minimum time frame most hotels in the area are asking. You may be able to finagle three nights or less at the budget brands but this city is filling up fast.

The Omni Dallas at Park West which had rooms open last week, is now sold-out. Checking on Expedia, however, we see that the The Admiral Hotel, is still open but has bumped its rate up to about $285 a night.

Best Western Dallas Hotel and Conference Center has rooms for $219 a night. This includes free parking, free internet and free breakfast so it's a good value for four nights.

The urban loft brand, NYLO Plano, in the 'burbs has rooms for $260 a night while it's sister hotel, NYLO at Las Colinas, is much more expensive at $425 a night. Another pricey but known quantity is the Hilton Dallas at Rockwall which has rooms for $419 a night.

Looking at HotelRates.HotelChatter.com for those same dates, we see the Holiday Inn Market Center Dallas still has rooms open for $251 a night.

The slightly upscale Hyatt Place Park Galleria is available for $349 a night but remember, Hyatt Place rooms come with pull-out couches, free WiFi and 42" flat-screen TVs so it's a great option for sharing with friends.

Lastly, if you want to celebrate the Super Bowl in four-star style, The Renaissance Dallas is still open but at a hefty $699 a night. Yet despite the big price tag, we wouldn't be surprised if they sold-out today. So book now if you're serious about being there for your team.

HotelChatter will be keeping track of hotel rooms and their availability up until the Big Game. Know of a hotel that's still open for Super Bowl? Tell us where right here. And be sure to watch our Super Bowl coverage for more hotel availability!

Super bowl 2011

Remember that the Super Bowl game is in Arlington, which is Tarrant County. Fort Worth is the best choice because it is closer to the Stadium. The Steelers will be staying at the Omni in downtown Ft Worth, and ESPN will be broadcasting from Sundance Square throughout the event. Sundance Square has free parking, night life that you can enjoy by walking to all the bars, restaurants, etc. Close by on W 7th Street are more pubs and of course head down Main Street and there you have the Ft Worth Stock Yards. Downtown Ft Worth may be booked but North Richland Hills, Hurst, Euless, Bedford, Benbrook, Arlington are all areas in the Forth Worth metroplex. So there are plenty of avenues to search for hotels.

Surprised you have not mentioned Hotwire....

The Hotel "Roulette Wheel" shows several 2-3* Hotels over that weekend, including 1 in Lewisville - which is closer than Plano and much closer than Rockwall to Cowboys Stadium - for only $64.
