The Dorchester Now Taking Reservations for Fashion Tea with Amanda Wakely

We really enjoyed sharing afternoon tea with Katy Perry at Claridige�s last year. Ok, ok we may not have been invited by her but that didn�t stop us getting extra close to her table and gawking.

So when we saw that The Dorchester was running a special afternoon tea with Amanda Wakeley we couldn�t resist sharing it with you. Especially as the designer will actually be present, table-hopping to solve your shopping queries and share her experiences of the fashion industry.

Yes folks, Fashion Week is once again rearing its stylish coif in major cities all over the world and that means hotels are doing what they can to remain in vogue.

The Amanda Wakeley Fashion Afternoon Tea is the hotel's first fashion tea of 2011. (FYI: London's Fashion Week doesn't start until February 18.)

During the tea guests will get to see the designers London Fashion Week Spring / Summer 2011 collection, usually reserved for press and A-listers.

The head of Amanda�s personal styling service, Bridget Bowen will also be on hand to offer her advice on what you're wearing -- dress to impress, you've been warned.

The food, should you dare to indulge, includes the usual finger sandwiches, scones and pastries washed down with a glass of champers. This special tea is only running for two sittings on Wednesday 2nd February and costs �48 per person. Book through the hotels website now.
