With the Jets still in contention to go-all-the-way, we admit it: we've thought about looking for flights to and hotels in Pittsburgh and Dallas. But you know what's a hell of a lot more fun than thinking about a hotel room in Dallas? Watching the Super Bowl from an oceanview hotel room in Turks & Caicos.

The Gansevoort Turks & Caicos gets it. They're getting a 16-foot big-screen TV ready to set up on Grace Bay Beach, and finalizing plans for a sand-in-your-toes tailgate party complete with drinks specials and wings.

That's just the communal fun. If you're like us and need to watch certain football games in the privacy of your own room--where you can scratch and claw your own hair out in private--an oceanview bedroom studio at the Gansevoort T&C may be one the prettiest places in the world to do it. Yes, there's an LCD TV -- a 32-incher. There's also a refrigerator/freezer and microwave in your room, so you can stock it with lots of goodies to get you through the game.

Oh, and there is that view and the warm ocean breeze on the terrace for when the penalties get too much to handle and you need your very own time out.

There's a three-night minimum stay for this deal, with one night being Super Bowl Sunday (duh). Rates start at $450 a night, and this is 100% pre-paid and non-refundable. Unless we could actually stay in a Jets hotel room, we're convinced this beats staying in Dallas any day.
