The last time we checked in with Hilton's new extended stay brand, Home2 Suites, they were just breaking ground in Fayetteville, North Carolina back in December 2009.

But now it looks like the hotel will be opening on February 3. (Yes, we've already added it to The List.) That's the official word we got from Home2 Suites but online, we couldn't find rates until February 25.

So, what do you get at a Home2 Suites? For $129 a night, you can get a studio suite with a king bed, a full kitchen, a sitting area, 42" flat-screen TVs and free WiFi. (If you book in advance, you can even get that sweet suite for just $116 a night.)

We're also excited about Home2 Suite's promise of a "working wall" that runs the full length of the suite and provides extra room for personal storage and place to work. You can even print documents wirelessly from your room which can then be retrieved from the lobby's Oasis area, a common hangout space/modern business center.

Downstairs, you can also find complimentary breakfast each morning from 6am to 9am as well as a Home2 MKT onsite convenience store.

Since this is an extended stay brand, Home2 Suites also offers guests laundry rooms but with a little twist. "Spin2 Cycle" combines the fitness center with the laundry room so you can work out while you do laundry. That sure beats sitting in a windowless room with a year-old copy of Us Weekly!

And for pet owners, you'll be happy to know that pets are allowed for a $75 nonrefundable fee.

While Home2 Suites has a very ambitious expansion plan, the next property after Fayetteville will be just outside Salt Lake City in Layton. This is set to open in April. So yeah, we're probably going to have wait a while before a Home2 Suites comes to the (suburbs of) bigger cities. But so far, we're liking what we see.

I like Hilton

I like Hilton brand, they are constantly doing so much to offer more and become better before others. I have stayed at their DoubleTree brand in Shanghai, I'm very pleased. I often visit Hilton properties in Maldives as well, they are of very high quality and standard.
