First rule of the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas is you don't talk about the inevitable tragic possibilities that come along with a Strip hotel where every room includes an open air terrace. Got it?

That said, The Cosmopolitan is incredibly gorgeous, and it is not just because she is the new girl in town, this is just the right hotel at the right time on the strip.

Don't believe us? Take a look at this video tour of room 1719, a one-bedroom terrace room with an astounding view of the Strip. We'll have more on our stay at The Cosmo tomorrow but for now we'll let the video and photos do the talking.

not convinced

Love the kitchen! Hate that they hid Fornasetti plates in the back of the closet?! The headboard looks cheap, as does some of the other furniture. The terrace is nice though...in summer we'd sleep out there.

Far from 'incredibly gorgeous'

Maybe in person the room is nicer but from the photos the furniture and millwork looks very cheap.  There is no warmth to this room at all.
I would rather stay at Vdara behind it.  Vdara has a much cooler vibe with a room that has a bit more luxury to it.

We must be staying at 2 different hotels!?

Gorgeous?  You have got to be kidding. I am at the Cosmo right now - everything about the rooms are cold, unappealing and cheap looking. Like someone attempting to be expensive but not coming close. "let the video and photos do the talking." Your Video & photos do do the talking. They stream out that the rooms are not worth a fraction of what they charge and they have no sense of style. It seems the policy of Hotel Chatter to wave about all the hotels that "give" them a free room and trash the ones they actually have to pay for, no matter how nice the hotel. I had looked forward to this stay, but am highly disappointed.

wonky lopsided hotel?

is this the hotel that looks crooked when you see it from the street?
