If you star stalkers really want to be close to the Golden Globes on January 16, but can't afford the Beverly Hills Hilton venue's special $3,000 weekend package, don't give up hopes of seeing Jake Gyllenhaal or baby-bump-sporting Natalie Portman just yet. You can score a room on the big night for less than $200 so that you can follow around your favorite celebs.

Check out our three picks for affordable Golden Globes hotels after the jump.

· Grafton on Sunset
This West Hollywood hotel is three miles from the Golden Globes venue, so you won't be far from all of the action. Plus, Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Brad Pitt have been spotted here, so you may run into a celeb or two. The Grafton on Sunset has rooms on its website starting at $179 a night.

· Maison 140
The Beverly Hills hotel (pictured) is a fitting Golden Globes retreat, since silent film star Lillian Gish used to own it. The hotel is offering a Weekend Rendezvous package that includes a bottle of bubbly and continental breakfast for $170.

· The Standard Hollywood
The Standard tries to be the hippest hotel on the block, and it certainly succeeds with bizarre additions like the Chicquarium. It's a little more than three miles from the awards ceremony and has rooms starting at $185.
