Hey, if you were opening a brand new hotel in the Hamptons and celebrating the move with a five-day party over the Labor Day weekend, wouldn't you want to invite a slew of top-shelf talent to host the big bash? Sure you would.

But would you choose Dennis Rodman aka the Worst Celebrity Hotel Guest Ever as your main attraction? If you were the brand new Hotel Indigo East End that's exactly what you'd do! And then Rodman would take a leak behind your cabanas.

Yes, in news that bewilders us no end, the folks behind the new Hotel Indigo in Riverhead asked Rodman to host the Sunday Night Pool Party that anchored its epic Destination 72 event this weekend.

The New York Post reports that at the event:

The ever-so-classy ex-NBA star grabbed the wireless microphone to yell his requests to the deejay. He was seen later ducking to take a leak behind a cabana where former Miss USA Julie Hayek and socialite Anna Rothschild were lounging.

Considering that Rodman was billed as a Celebrity Guest DJ for the party, we can't blame him for trying to control the tunes--although we always thought that deejays, even celeb ones, actually did said controlling of music themselves, rather than yelling requests via an intermediary.

But it's the other behavior we're most concerned about. Here we were all excited about a new Hotel Indigo to explore, one near the beach with what we hoped would be a classy if laidback pool scene. Now? Those daydreams are dashed, thanks to the grosstastic vision of Rodman ducking behind a cabana to relieve himself.

Of course, if you're up for a game of 'Guess the Cabana Dennis Rodman Christened', this place is for you!

Rooms at the Hotel Indigo East End start at $209 and it looks like there are quite a few available for tonight.
