This Just In...Photos of the Waikiki Edition Hotel, Opening Tomorrow

UPDATE: The Waikiki Edition only has the $195 intro rates until October 15, meaning you have to book that rate by then but it is good for stays through February 28, 2011. After October 15th, the room rates will start at $375. Another reason to book now!

This morning we were buzzing with good vibes with the news that the Waikiki Edition Hotel, the first Edition Hotel from Bill Marriott and Ian Schrager, would be opening tomorrow. However, we had a bit of a buzzkill when we discovered that the hotel's website still did not have any photographs of the rooms.

But thanks to a very kind tipster, we've now received a link to TripAdvisor featuring some Waikiki Edition photos.

To be fair, these are done-up professional photos with perfect lighting and placing and possibly some airbrushing. Yet they are far better than the drawings on the hotel's website. We only hope you like white! Also, one of the guest room shots looked like it was made for little kids complete with bright-colored towels and pink ukelele, which we think is a great service to offer.
