Wall & Water's private dining table

Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps is in theaters tomorrow, but already there's a Wall Street 3: Power Players. Kinda. It's only showing at Andaz Wall Street's Wall & Water restaurant. And it's not a movie. It's the hotel's secret way for you to get drunk at lunch and expense it.

As the newest hotel on the Street, it comes as no surprise that Andaz would get in on this long-awaited sequel to Wall Street. And this promo may actually get us into the concept of the power lunch.

Here's the deal: Book a lunch at Wall & Water before October 31 and each guest will receive a complimentary cocktail. This--along with any additional alcoholic drinks ordered with the meal--will show up on the bill simply as "beverage".

Ha--take that, boss!

All you have to do to tamper with sober-ify your expense report is write "Gordon Gekko" on your business card and hand it to your server before they bring you the check.

Let the "greed is good" drinking commence!

I wouldn't buy it...

As an accountant, I know that a $20.00 "beverage" on a restaurant check is just as suspect as a $12.95 "movie" on a hotel bill.

But if your manager approves it, that's usually the end of the discussion.  My company has a seven-figure MONTHLY travel budget, so I don't think anyone here would care or even notice.
