You already know how much we love geek hotels and free WiFi but we really love hotels that offer free WiFi and cool technology all-in-one, like The Charles Hotel in Boston's Cambridge nabe.

This techy hotel (they had TV mirrors in the bathroom back in 2006) has web cubes on six of their seven guest floors that serve as a mini-work station. They offer complimentary internet access and printing and they've recently been upgraded with web cams and full Skype capability. (TBH: Skyping in hotels is our newest obsession.)

Sure, it's not quite as private as skyping in your own room but it's free and it beats walking all the way to the basement to access a cold business center where your credit card is needed for nearly every internet step you take. For the record, WiFi is also free in your room if you've brought your own laptop.

Another bonus? Check out that unoccupied plug outlet. So you can also charge your iPhone/Blackberry/MP3/iPod/iPad/Kindle/Sony e-Reader while you work. Love it.

Rates at the Charles Hotel start around $300 a night for a deluxe room.
