We've been keeping our eye on the reopening of the Four Seasons London Hotel at Park Lane, formerly just known as the Four Seasons London.

The targeted opening date was late 2010. But we've found out that it will be a slightly more specific winter 2010 launch, though the hotel is taking reservations for arrivals starting February 1, 2011, on its website. The Four Seasons says this London hotel will usher in a new era for the brand, which celebrates its 50th birthday in 2011.

The newest addition to the hotel is Amaranto, a lounge, bar and Italian restaurant all wrapped in one. It will have an outdoor terrace leading into a conservatory and dining room, a wine wall highlighting the clubby bar in the middle, and an atrium lounge at the other end with direct access to the lobby. You'll also be able to get your afternoon spot of tea here. It sounds like this restaurant will have a bit of an identity crisis, but we'll wait and see before we judge.

For these renovations, the hotel got a big makeover. It ditched the trademark florals for a more sexy look. The highlight of the new hotel will be the 10th Floor Lounge, a space that will offer lovely views of Green Park, Big Ben and other notable London spots. The spa and gym will also be housed on this floor.

We'll continue to keep an eye out to see when the official opening date will be.
