A press release from management company Meyer Jabara Hotels put out last year only offers that the hotel will have 64 rooms, a rooftop bar, restaurant, and two-story fish tank in the lobby.
Oh, and this:
The guestroom décor will be reminiscent of the finest hotel rooms. With Venetian walls, platform beds, luxurious linens, mechanized drapes, wall-mounted flat screen plasma televisions, and even a television embedded in the bathroom mirror, guests will have the latest technology at their fingertips while being surrounded by luxury at every turn.
Alas, our follow-up inquiries have fallen upon deaf ears--or the folks behind this hotel just don't want to show their hand yet.
So we ask: What have you heard about the Flatiron Hotel? Feel free to email us your scoop or leave your tips in the comments below.
