The Leaning Hyatt of Abu Dhabi Will Open Later This Year

Forget the Leaning Tower of Pisa or the precariously placed belltowers of churches in sinking Venice, because Abu Dhabi has an architectural creation to blow them out of the water. And here's the thing: Abu Dhabi's Capital Gate is leaning a shocking 18 degrees on purpose (The Leaning Tower of Pisa only lean 4 degrees).

We're all excited for Capital Gate because inside of it's sloping 35 stories will be a 5-star, 189-room Hyatt Hotel, due to open later this year. Happily, all updates on the construction of the building have been positive, as each and every unique and custom-constructed piece of glass is fitted onto the twister-looking thing, like a Puzz-3D on hallucinogens.

It hasn't fallen over yet, and now that the exterior construction is done and shiny, we can't wait to see what interior fun they come up with to complement the futuristic shape.
