On the set of Boardwalk Empire. This could be you this fall!

Following Labor Day, the excitement of the Jersey Shore and 90-degree days on the Atlantic City boardwalk won't be as high...that is until HBO's new show Boardwalk Empire debuts on September 19. The historical drama follows the corruption of the prohibition era on Jersey's Riviera and even though the Scorsese-directed show is destined to involve lots of murder, backdoor dealings and general gangster fun, the modern-day Atlantic City is super excited for the show.

The first of what's sure to be a slew of Boardwalk Empire-themed AC hotel packages has emerged from Harrah's. Right now, they've got 1,920 rooms from September 16 to September 30 available for $19.20 per night. You've got to eat, too. So 27 of Atlantic City's restaurants are doing their part with $19.20 three-course prix fixe menus, including the eateries at Harrah's Resorts.

If you're deeply interested in the real history on which Boardwalk Empire is based, Caesar's Atlantic City is hosting a free screening of the pilot on Sunday, September 19. Doors open at 6:30pm.

Rooms and the events are first-come, first-served, so check 'em out and book here.
