Doesn't it all make you excited for fall? (Never mind that Lambs Club was on our list of Fall 2009 Hot Hotel Restaurants. It's here now!)
So far, the restaurant is only serving breakfast, with Intelligentsia Coffee, Black Tea espressos, and an impressive tea list. Eater NY has the full rundown of the food, but standouts include Eggs Norway with Max's Smoked Salmon, and the Chicken Fried Steak with Poached Eggs, Homemade Biscuit and Gravy. (Although both are 19 bucks—ouch.)
There are healthy options like Greek yoghurt and a protein-powder smoothie but this is well balanced with naughty sides such as the Myers of Keswick Breakfast Sausage.
Lunch will start next week and dinner follows after Labor Day. (First one to spot Anna Wintour wins!*)
What we're most excited for, though, is the all-day bar menu ... and the cocktails. They'll be served Monday–Thursday until 12 a.m. and Friday & Saturday until 2 a.m.
As soon as we walked into The Chatwal, we wished we were arriving to drink Old Fashioneds with Gatsby—and as you can imagine, those old-time cocktails will be all the rage here. Next on our tasting list: a Cherry Fix. That's vodka or rum with fresh cherries, lemon, and crushed ice.
Perfect! We'll take it with vodka for now but switch to rum when the temperature drops ...

* There is no actual prize for this beyond your own bragging rights. But let us know if you dine at The Lambs Club all the same!
