Actually, if you click a bit deeper, there's a note that says
We open our doors in early September, and are accepting reservations for stays on or after October 15, 2010.
The starting rate for that first night, in a King or room with two Queens, is $289 a night plus tax.
The October date now puts Aloft Harlem much closer to the opening of its cousin in Brooklyn. Its website still says that Aloft Brooklyn will open on October 21, however there is no online rezzie system in place, which makes that date a little tentative for our liking.
We'd call this an inter-borough race to see which Aloft opens first, but it looks like Harlem has a lock on being the first of the brand to debut in New York City.
