Shack Up in Richard Branson's Private Island for Just $25,400

August 17, 2010 at 11:15 AM | by | Comment (1)

Necker Island has been reserved as Richard Branson's hideaway and the backdrop for the occasional Victoria's Secret catalog photo shoot, but now you have a chance to hang in the beautiful locale in the British Virgin Islands. And no, we aren't suggesting you become a scantily clad VS model to do it.

Normally the entire private island is rented out, but during Celebration Weeks—which take place select times throughout the year—couples, singles or families can book one of 14 rooms individually and share the island.

There are some openings in September and October:

September 17 for seven nights
September 24 for seven nights
October 9 for seven nights
October 16 for seven nights
October 23 for three, four or seven nights (Family Fun Week, kiddies welcome)

Of course, it'll cost you to shack up in Sir Richard's 74-acre own personal paradise. Rates start at $25,400 and are per couple, per week. Shorter trips, which are limited, will cost $10,900 for three nights and $14,500 for four.

The super-sky-high price includes all drinks, including alcohol—score!—and meals; a return launch transfer from Virgin Gorda or Beef Island airports; two freshwater pools, two Jacuzzis and a beach pool; two floodlit tennis courts; windsurfing, kite-surfing, water-skiing and snorkeling equipment; sailing and speed boats; kayaks; an extensive video, book and music libraries and board games; and a snooker table.

You know that if Branson lives here, it's going to be first class all the way—and it better for that price. To book a room, call 877-577-8777.
