The Gutting Continues at Four Seasons London, But Will It Reopen On Time?
Last time we talked about the Four Seasons London we learned that it’s going to be so thoroughly gutted that it’ll be marketed as an entirely new hotel, so we were eager to see the process.
And lo and behold, our helpful tipster has sent us these photos. We’re told:
Progress is starting to show, you can see the new top floor quite clearly now.
I am curious what they are going to do with the entrance and lower levels; will they keep the boxy tiered structure? It looks like it.
You’ll remember that the brand new top floor is going to include a swank spa overlooking Hyde Park as well as a bar and a restaurant.
Meanwhile, the Four Seasons website is still showing “Late 2010” as the opening date.
Sounds a bit too optimistic, no? We'll keep watching.
