Hotel Indigo Opens Again in New York, This Time on Long Island

Hotel Indigo, one of our fave new brands out there today, keeps on opening new locations. This time it's the Hotel Indigo East End in Riverhead, New York, near the Hamptons.

The 100-room hotel is inspired by its proximity to the beach, a sort of brand standard for Hotel Indigos (they always like to take on the personality/attitude of their location.)

The overall color palette is neutralized with pops of warm oranges, sea powder and indigo blues, greens and gold. Oversized graphics highlighting Wine Country and the beach bring the surroundings inside. The finishes, materials and fabrics have an organic, natural texture, and the wood is inspired by beach driftwood.

The hotel's restaurant, Bistro 72, will serve locally grown, organic ingredients and regional wines. Also on-site are a fitness center, a pool, a business center and two meeting rooms. Up in the guestrooms, there are oversized beds and hardwood floors (hurrah!), spa showers with Aveda toiletries and what we love most about Hotel Indigo--free internet.

The hotel's website is accepting reservations for stays starting August 15 but it is open now (call 631-369-2200 to book.) Rates range from $229 to $399 and next weekend, rooms already begin at $359 a night. Sadly, the website is showing no availability for Labor Day Weekend. But if you're serious about staying here that weekend, call the hotel and see if there are some openings. After all, this hotel just opened!

HOTEL INDIGO!!!

BOY, this Hotel is Beautiful!!! NO wonder this is one of My Favorite "Boutique Hotels". In fact, I would not mine Owning one of them Myself!!! Take Care & GO REDSKINS!!!
