This is Infusion Bar Twenty/33, a two-level cocktail bar serving (what else?) Prohibition-era drinks. (We're guessing this trend is not going away because they excel at getting you bombed.) It will open in the fall, with a fancy glass-enclosed spiral staircase that overlooks the hotel's lobby.

Also on the way for autumn is Asellina, the Italian restaurant on the Park Avenue side of the hotel. The website says this is "a modern day tribute to the owner of an ancient Pompeii tavern," but during our tour, Michael Achenbaum let slip that, in fact, the name Asellina comes from a woman in Pompeii who ran a tavern downstairs and a brothel upstairs. (So we'll put $100 on Spaghetti alla puttanesca being on the menu.)

Asellina's interiors were designed by ICRAVE and, like the hotel's bars, will be operated by The ONE Group of Tenjune and STK fame. It will include a dining room, bar, living room with fireplace and a big, green, mossy backyard.
Like its STK cousin, it will be "music-centric" (with a DJ during dinner), and offer a range of portion sizes. Achenbaum said it will have female-friendly focus, which we take to mean: Kardashian sightings are likely.
