Hallelujah! New York's Hotel Rooftop scene just grew by 6,000 square feet. The latest addition? Bar d'Eau at Trump Soho, which opened last night.

Part of the hotel's buzz for the spot on the seventh floor is "bocce meets bottle service" but, frankly, we're more interested in that pool. Especially as the summer is fast coming to a close. Unfortunately, it's not really a swimming pool—it's afflicted with the same size challenges the pool at the neighboring James New York faces. Trump Soho is diplomatically calling theirs a "lounge pool".

What it does have going for it is a cascading waterfall, three private cabanas and a bocce court. The pool is for guests during the day, and then come nighttime, patrons of adjacent Bar d'Eau will flow out onto the pool deck.

The bar is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

Small plates including a Lobster Rolly Curry and Black Angus Sliders will be available, along with a Coconut Pannacotta and homemade ice cream and sorbet cones.

For anyone needing a dose of liquid courage before they hit the bocce court, there's an extensive cocktail list, including a Mehkong Sling (Mehkong, Pineapple, Cherry Heering, and Lime Juice) and a Volstead (Muddled Strawberries, Russian Standard Vodka, St. Germain, Prosecco). These and the other signature cocktails are yours for the Trumpian price of $18 each.

In other Trump Soho news, we hear the spa—designed by Ivanka—will also open in the next few days.
