Five Miami Spa Deals Worth Braving The Heat For

The Palms Spa at The Palms Hotel, South Beach

You know how it's been over 100 degrees in NYC? The peeps in Miami have to put up with heat like this all the time—but thanks to the quieter summer months we get great promotions like Miami Spa Month, which is back for its third year of rubbing and scrubbing down locals and visitors to the beach.

Miami is always a great spa destination, and we'd happily have a treatment at zen palaces like The Standard Spa and Canyon Ranch any day of the year. But here are five treatments from the generous menu that go behind your run of the mill mani/pedi/massage/facial offerings.

You can see the full list of participating spas and their deals here—and just remember, the special means each treatment or package is just $99 between now and August 31. (Yes, Spa Month is actually two months. It's hot there. Leave them alone.)

The Palms Spa: We hit up this Aveda spa inside the underexposed Palms Hotel last summer during Spa Month because they offer killer value with two treatments for the $99. They've mixed up the menu this year but we love all three options on tap: a 50-minute Elemental Nature Massage or Facial, either one with a Warm Oil Infusion Scalp Massage; and the Healing Hands & Healthy Hair Combo, which means a healing stone hand 'experience' with a shampoo, cut, and blowout. (We're checking flights to Miami as we type.)

Hilton Bentley South Beach: Spa 101 at this Kardashian-endorsed hotel is offering something way different to the standard Spa Month fare: an Anti-Cellulite Starter Kit. That's two 30-minute sessions made up of a body-contouring massage and infared light treatment that promises to melt away fat. It's not available on Saturdays, so maybe save your steakhouse hopping for then and book your treatment for a Sunday.

EPIC Hotel & Residences: The Exhale Spa here is still pretty new. (Read: not grotty.) And if you're a fan of Exhale's own Core Fusion workouts like we are, hang onto your yoga mats, because with one of their Spa Month deals you can get five Mind Body Classes (yoga or core fusion) within six months of your visit tacked onto a G.R.N. Mani/Pedi. We're shocked this is actually just $99 (plus tax and gratuity—which, we should mention, are extra at all the spas.)

W South Beach: Another relatively new one, the Bliss Spa wasn't open when we stayed here last year, but we always know what to expect with Bliss. And when it comes to disrobing and getting bits pummeled or scrubbed, this can be comforting. For multi-tasking value, we love the sound of their Triple Oxygen Treatment and Brow Wax special.

Ritz-Carlton South Beach: Here's a Spa Month option we haven't seen before: a Fitness Stretch: 'Fifty minutes of stretching, holding and leaning body weight into various muscles to improve flexibility.' Just what the doctor ordered for bloggers! Plus, we can visit Miguel the Tanning Butler and Chef Jeff once we're all limbered up.

For all the details, including blackout days, and other locations, visit the Miami Spa Month website.

And don't forget to hydrate!
