Book a Hotel, Flight and Car Rental on Starwood's New Travel Site
You can use Starwood Hotels Plus to book a room at Le Meridien New Delhi.
Lindsay Lohan starts serving her 90-day jail sentence on July 20, which means she has less than two weeks to live it up. Before she goes to the slammer, LiLo should plan a quickie getaway on a site like Starwood Hotels Plus. The website is Starwood's version of Travelocity and Expedia, a one-stop travel site that allows you to book your flight, hotel, car rental and trip activities.
The twist, of course, is that you only can book rooms at Starwood brands, such as Aloft, W, St. Regis and Westin. Members of the company's loyalty program, Starwood Preferred Guest, have an added incentive to book through this site: They get 500 points for each night.
When we tried booking a week-long trip from Los Angeles to New York, we found a package for $1,964.80, with a stay at the Four Points by Sheraton Midtown-Times Square and airfare included. Be sure to look at the list of hotels closely, since ours included ones in New Jersey and Long Island and we wanted to stay in NYC.
Overall, the site is easy to use, but the additional activities section is a bit cumbersome. They aren't separated into categories, like tours and tickets, that you could quickly navigate to through a hyperlink. Instead, you have to scroll through a list of all of the activities. Optional add-ons included helicopter tours of Manhattan, tickets to the Empire State Building, and a rock and roll walking tour.
