Who's thirsty? It's time for another installment of our Summer Cocktails series. All summer long we'll profile fun new summer drinks served at hotels around the world. Got one we should know about? Send us the recipe with a photo of the drink. Otherwise, enjoy and @reply us when you're wasted!

Do you like flowers? We think they're pretty and all, but they're not at the top of our list of things to notice. We're not even sure that we need flowers in our cocktails, as is the current mixology trend. But the Colorado Wildflower Cocktail, served at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek looks just lovely so we put our petal bias aside for a moment to find out what's in it.

And guess what? No pesky flowers! The name refers to sitting out on the patio, sipping your drink and gazing at the Colorado wildflowers. That we can handle. Especially when said drink contain the following:

8100 Mountainside Bar & Grill's 'Colorado Wildflower'

· Fresh mint leaves
· Organic Colorado honey
· Fresh lime juice
· Fresh grapefruit juice
· Goat Artisan Vodka, an organic vodka from Palisade, Colorado

To make, muddle the mint leaves with the honey, then add the vodka and two juices. Garnish with a large grapefruit twist and pour into a tall glass.

Yum. We'd take one of these over a bouquet of flowers any day.

chefs...

Amazing how outstanding chefs find their ways to discover uncommon food and drink recipes.  Just curious, will the smell of the flower remain even if it's already used for drinks?  Will love to try having this one!worldbiznews
