The Setai will also have a lobby bar called, The Bar at 5th, which as we reported earlier this month promises "a landscape of intimate spaces". Signature cocktails and a fireplace in the bar's center should keep everyone warm and cozy when the hotel opens on November 1st. Room rates are still holding steady at $545 a night for a standard room.

More Manhattan Mania! The upcoming Setai Fifth Avenue has just announced that its culinary plans will include a restaurant from busy Manhattan chef Michael White, who already runs Convivio, Alto and Marea and a has fourth restaurant planned for Soho. This will be his fifth.
The new restaurant will be called Ai Fiori and The NYT has the detes:
The second-floor restaurant in the Setai Fifth Avenue, 400 Fifth Avenue (37th Street), set to open in late fall. The restaurant will feature the food of the Italian Mediterranean coast, with some French Riviera influences, and have about 185 seats with another 40 at the bar.
Looks like this luxury hotel is passing up the kind of quick "restaurant concepts" we talked about yesterday.
