The Gibson is already a classic cocktail, but The Oak Room's executive chef Eric Hara tells People magazine that he decided to turn it into "something thoroughly twisted."
If you think you can handle one without taking to the phone for a drunken tirade or 10, here's what's in it:
The Mel Gibson, a Bipolar Cocktail
• 1 oz Van Gogh Vodka
• 1 oz. Bols V.O. Genever Gin
• ¾ oz. vermouth
• 3 oz. club soda
• Splash of cocktail onion juice
As for presentation, we suggest you follow the Hara/People mag recommendation:
Best served on the rocks – like Gibson's career.
Cheers to that.
