The cast and crew of Transformers 3 tore up Wacker Drive in Chicago recently, and Hotel 71 not only had a front-row seat, it was a filming site.

Aside from the smoke, rubble and explosions right outside Hotel 71, an overturned car sat where its outdoor cafe is supposed to be and there was shooting inside the building, though hotel officials are keeping mum about the shots done inside. Hotel 71 isn't a movie-star newbie; it was the set for Bruce Wayne's penthouse bedroom in The Dark Knight.

To monopolize on Shia LaBeouf and his vehicular friends filming onsite, the hotel is offering a Transformers package. Along with a room, you'll get daily updates on filming locations around the city, the first two Transformers flicks available for in-room viewing and a secret Transformer amenity—we're hoping for a transformable Optimus Prime toy. You'll also receive a $20 credit at the hotel's 71 East Cafe to use toward Transformers-themed menu items, free valet parking—so you don't have to worry about maneuvering your ride around the explosions and any Decepticons—and you can get 30 percent off a connecting second room.

Prices start at $219 a night. The package is available through August 8, when filming will cease in the Windy City.
