Miami Hotels Get Into the Miami Spice Restaurant Week Action

July 20, 2010 at 11:56 AM | by | Comments (0)

Who doesn't love a Restaurant Week? Especially when it's actually for two months and the deals are spread across the hottest hotels in Miami? Yep, it's almost time for Miami Spice, where from August 1—September 30, you can get three-course lunches for $22 and dinners for $35.

All the usual hotel hotspots are on the list—including Mr Chow at the W South Beach, STK at the Gansevoort Miami, Hakkasan and Scarpetta at the Fontainebleau, and BLT Steak at The Betsy. However, we strongly suggest you check the fine print because many of the most popular restaurants are just serving dinner and are not offering the Miami Spice menu on Friday and Saturday nights.

Also worth noting this year is the introduction of Miami Spice Hotel Packages and other special offers. Such as:

At the EPIC Hotel, the Miami Spice Package secures you a room on a Club Level from $222 a night, parking, plus a $70 Miami Spice dinner credit at the hotel's restaurant, Area 31.

Also downtown, at the Mandarin Oriental, the Miami Spice Celebration package is for two nights accommodation, American breakfast daily, and either the Miami Spice dinner at Azul, or Miami Spice lunch or dinner at Café Sambal on the water. It starts at $274 a night.

For a full list of participating restaurants, visit the Miami Spice website here.

UPDATE: If you're salivating after reading this post, you'll be pleased to know that one of the Gansevoort's big splashy restaurants, Philippe, got a head start and began offering its Miami Spice menu early last night. Bonus: it's available Saturday nights.
