Daddy Lohan Shacks Up at the Mondrian While Lindsay Gets Shackled in Jail
It's a sad great day for the American justice system as bad girl Lindsay Lohan has been carted off to jail for violating the terms of her probation stemming from drug charges and a DUI arrest.
But while Lohan was agonizing over the harsh realities of jail life, her dad Michael was checking into the Mondrian Los Angeles with his fiancee early this morning, according to the The Daily Mail. But don't worry, Daddy Lohan was thinking of Lindsay and he released a statement via his lawyer to show everyone how much he cares:
"Michael spent the morning praying for his daughter. He's devastated she's going to jail. He loves her very much and he'll pray for her."
The Mondrian is kind of an interesting choice for Michael, namely because the hotel's subtle design influence in the rooms is very Alice in Wonderland. For someone trying to get his daughter into rehab for prescription pill addiction, we can't help but wonder if he's really practicing what he preaches. Also, let's face it--the Mondrian is a party hotel. Perhaps he should have chosen the quieter London West Hollywood instead.
