If hearing that Tiger Woods' divorce settlement could cost him $750 million made you consider trying to get your own money career in golf, Keswick Hall can get you started with its Keswick Club's Golf School for the Novice.

Okay, the new golf school doesn't promise you'll be swinging clubs like Tiger, but you'll learn the basics, like choosing the right ball, hitting it out of the bunker and even talking like a golfer—apparently only amateurs say, "I'm going golfing"; proper par parlance is "I am going to play golf."

The school is overseen by PGA golf pro Eric McGraw, who also teaches some of the classes. You can choose between one-on-one or group lessons. The school offers instructional sessions that work on developing many different skills. Along with on-the-greens technique, instructors will teach basic rules and proper golf etiquette.

Choose between one-, two- and three-day courses, which cost $215, $430 and $645, respectively. Classes take place on Keswick's Audubon-certified, 18-hole Signature Arnold Palmer-designed golf course.

If you stay at the hotel, which goes for about $255 a night in the summer, you can partake in some golfing perks. You'll receive a pass to the Keswick Club, which includes a club concierge who will arrange tee times for when you want to show off your new skills, the chance to find duffers with whom you can tee off and a locker.
