The Hilton San Diego Bayfront is getting ready for the onslaught of Comic-Con fans this week. The hotel's flashing its geek cred by plastering comic-book slacker and bassist Scott Pilgrim on its facade.
Or, more likely, it's just an ad for the upcoming Scott Pilgrim movie starring Michael Cera as the titular character. Either way, the ad splashed on the 30-story hotel—even despite the glare from the always-there San Diego sun—will surely be a conversation-starter among the comic-book-loving festival crowd.
The Hilton San Diego Bayfront is strategically located across the street from Hall H at the convention center, where most of Comic-Con will take place. The hotel ballroom also will host some of the events, like a panel with the cast and creative team of Community and a session with Kevin Smith presenting the flick Cop Out, starring Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan.
