After giving you more Thompson Hotel Toronto than you ever thought you could want, we decided to expand our Canadian horizons, and found a dose of stylish design up in Quebec City. Hotel Pur opened last year and is now introducing its new restaurant, Table.

Like the rest of the hotel, Table is designed to look at home in the pages of design-porn magazines like Dwell and Wallpaper, and will be serving small plates for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Upstairs in the rooms, the look is minimalist and high-tech, which makes a fun contrast to the view from many of te windows of the historic church of Saint-Roch.

Amenities include iPod docks, free tea and espresso, free WiFi, flatscreen TVs, and Aveda bath goodies. Some rooms have Japanese soaking tubs in their rooms, but there is also a large heated indoor pool in the hotel if your get-wet needs aren't met by the shower or a nice, long bath.

The Pur & Simple promotion, which includes a room and American breakfast, starts at $150 CAN a night. If you're heading to Quebec City this weekend, this deal for a PUR King room is $209 CAN on Saturday night.

And don't forget to look out for tumbling acrobats—Cirque du Soleil are doing free summer performances just around the corner from the hotel.
