We did, however, manage to get ourselves down to the infinity pool, which has a similar view as this Ocean-Facing Room, and to the resort's beach, where you have complimentary use of kayaks, windsurfing gear, one-man sailing vessels and snorkels.
But guess what? We didn't do much of that either.
The truth is, all you need to do here is sit in that chair and stare at the view and you'll get the same effect you would from a week-long yoga retreat*. It's that mind-altering.
Of course, rooms at this private-island resort will set you back Bruce Willis-sized rates, but there are savings to be had in the summer. Until December 20, you can book four nights for the price of three, or seven nights for the price of five.
Your entry price for a Garden View Room in summer is usually $696 a night, but keep your eyes peeled for promotions—last year there was a Labor Day offer that brought the starting rate down to $460 a night.
All rates include daily breakfast (where you can sit and enjoy more of this view), transfers from the airport, and complimentary yoga and pilates classes.
