The InterContinental Times Square Opens Today But Rooms Are Sold Out

Today's the day! InterContinental Times Square is flinging its doors open to all the curiosity seekers in Times Square. But if you were willing to pony up $300 for a room, you will have to wait a while.
The hotel is apparently booked for the rest of the month, according to their online reservations system when we looked last night. However, over on Expedia.com, we were able to find rooms on July 26 for $322 a night. So maybe IC Times Square was having a bit of a website snafu.
We'll be keeping tabs on the hotel through opening day today but if you are passing by the hotel, email us your observations or drop them in comments below. You can also holla' at us Twitter too.
Check our our sneak peek of the guest rooms at InterContinental Times Square below!
Crowd-Sourcing Opening Day Observations
· A tipster writes in..." They did a great job on the new subway entrance; the MTA must not have been involved."
· @IC_Times Square tells us via Twitter..."We had tech difficulties yesterday but everything should be all set now. Note that we are at capacity over some nights in July."
