For the rest of the week, we'll be focusing on the latest news out of Londontowne. Got a hotel we should check out or know of any tawdry London hotel scoop? Or better yet, got the skinny on where all the WAGs hang out? Tip us off.

This month sees the opening of yet another fancy suite in London--the prestigious Royal Suite at Mandarin Oriental, Hyde Park following an extensive renovation by RPW Interior Design. Already this summer, 51 Buckingham Gate, The Claridge's and The Langham unveiled recent renovations of their suites. But hey, there's always room for more (and Russian billionaires to book these suites, right?)

The new royal suite at Mandarin Oriental has been expanded by 242 square meters and includes a master bedroom with walk in wardrobe and bathroom, separate living room, dining room, kitchen, private bar and two additional bedrooms.

The highlight for us has got to be the sweeping balcony which can entertain up to 40 guests. Imagine dropping that one into the conversation, would one like to come back to ones private rooftop party at London’s most prestigious address?

Guests also have the option of taking breakfast, lunch or dinner in the private dining room which can be prepared by staff through the discreet use of the adjoining kitchen. If we were staying in the suite we certainly wouldn’t want to leave it either.

In Mandarin Oriental’s true, signature style, every little detail in the suite is of the finest quality. The walls are decked out in original art supplied by the Halcyon Gallery, which should you have the pounds, is also available for purchase. The master bathroom contains a bespoke shower with ‘Thunder and Tropic Water’ settings and a large bath complete with fibre optic chandelier to induce the mood. The walk in wardrobe has separate male and female areas. Seriously, could this suite be any suiter?

Bookings are been taken now for stays from 1 August 2010. Room rates start from £9,500+ for the three bedroom suite. Somehow we can't see our bank balances letting us check-in anytime soon!
