Sexy things be happening in this tub.

When we got a sneak peek back in April of The Trump Soho, we were rather wowed by rooms, especially how much space there was. True, these big rooms don't come cheap but a sexed-up commenter on Curbed.com justifies the hefty room rate by saying this:

The hotel is pretty darn ridiculous and bathing with a naked girl in the tub in front of sheet of glass overlooking the city and the bay with the Statue of Liberty in the background is second to none.

Well, now that certainly has us looking at the Trump Soho in a whole new light!

The anonymous commenter also went on to say that The Standard is "for squatters" and that the "tile floors (in the bathroom) looked like they were imported from someones kitchen in Queens." Ouch! More gems from the commenter can be read here.

As much as it pains us to say this, we have to agree with Anony commenter--you get way more for your money at Trump Soho. Right now, Trump is just $299 a night this weekend for a king superior room. Over at The Standard, rooms are $425 a night and that's just for a queen bed!

True, the WiFi is free at The Standard and not at Trump but we'd probably prefer a big soaking tub with views of the Statue of Liberty over free WiFi and a higher room rate.
