Whether your shorties love SpongeBob or Dora, JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa caters to both groupies. Pick a character and make a weekend of it with a sleepover kit that includes a cartoon pillow and a mystery gift. During your complimentary breakfast, SpongeBob and Dora will make appearances for photos. As part of the festivities, there's also Nickelodeon-themed crafts and dive-in movies with a pre-show that includes a mass sliming. The package is available through December 31 and starts at $329 a night.

· Barbie
If you have a Barbie girl, bring her and her collector’s-edition French Barbie doll to Plaza Athénée in Paris. Not only will she get a gift, but she can stay in one of the two Barbie-themed rooms bathed in shocking pink. A Barbie Room with a connecting deluxe room for the parents starts at 1 600 € from August 5 to September 5.

· Eloise
While your little one awaits the Betsey Johnson-designed Eloise Suite that's under construction at The Plaza, she can bide her time with the Live Like Eloise package. It includes a $100 gift card to the New York hotel's Eloise shop, a copy of the beloved book, an in-room sundae and Eloise postcards and pen. But you’ll have to play the role of nanny. Rates start at $965 a night.

· Dr. Seuss
From there to here, and here to there, funny things are everywhere at the Loews Portofino Bay. In its wacky Dr. Seuss Suite, Horton is spread across the wall above two twin beds in a room that connects to mom and dad's king. The deal includes a Seuss reading library, a set of mini-sized stuffed animals, a Cat in the Hat frame and green eggs and ham for two. The package starts at $619 per night with a three-day minimum. The room only will set you back $589 a night.

· Rugrats, Fairly OddParents, Jimmy Neutron and Danny Phantom
We know, that's a whole cast of characters, but what do you expect from the Nickelodeon Suites Resort? Nick viewers have their pick of the toons litter at this Orlando hotel. Rooms come adorned with cartoon favorites all over the walls, bunk or twin beds, and 20-inch TVs. But don’t worry, parents, kids will be too busy at the onsite water park, 4-D theater or kids' spa to sit in front of the boob tube. Rooms start at $199.
