A wintry view of The Garden at the Cooper Square Hotel

Last week we heard about New York's first hotel farmer's market—coming soon to Andaz Wall Street. But this weekend saw the launch of another kind of hotel market—the Summer Bazaar at The Cooper Square Hotel.

The bazaar sounds more like an extension of the hotel's minibar, which is stuffed with interesting items from local vendors—but of course, you don't have to splash out on a room to browse the bazaar. It will take over the hotel's newly revamped garden on Saturdays twice a month, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. It's open to the public but the hotel are also calling it "a special amenity for hotel guests."

The stuff for sale will be a rotating range from local designers and artisans, including Tina Thor, SSUR, and Blueprint Cleanse. What's that, you say? Blueprint Cleanse is an at-home detox system that's becoming quite the cult for the thinspiration set. It's already available for guests at the Cooper Square, so consider this a not-so-subtle hint to cleanse yourself before you step inside its pretty, spare white lobby.

Just make sure you throw down a cocktail and a snack from Faustina chef Scott Conant first—the bazaar will have an outdoor bar to help sous up your shopping. Or you can just plonk yourself down in the Garden and enjoy Shepard Fairey's latest masterpiece.

The next Summer Bazaar will be held at the Cooper Square on July 10.
