Diane von Furstenberg's Rooms at Claridge's Are Almost Ready

Attention all fashionistas who fawn over Diane von Furstenberg's iconic wrap dresses and fun prints: the wait for her first attempt at hotel decor is almost over--the DVF rooms at The Claridge's Hotel in London will be unveiled this Wednesday, June 23.

The WSJ got a sneak peek at four of the 20 rooms, including a three-bedroom suite, The Piano Suite:

Inside the grand suite, the characteristics of Ms. von Furstenberg's fashion soon become apparent. The curtains aren't fully up yet, but the valances already hung on the walls offer a taste of the contemporary prints that the designer will be using. Chinese florals in big and bold scale, as well as animal patterns, are just some of the styles revealed prior to the opening....

And von Furstenberg's hotel design touches go beyond sheets and drapes. She has also created a vanity, a traveling trunk, a desk and a cocktail bar for each of the 20 rooms. In addition to that, her own travel photography will hang on the walls.

But further details are still rather scant on the hotel rooms. We're not seeing anything remotely related to DVF on the Claridge's website. In fact, the site is still showing old pictures of the Piano Suite.

There's also no word on pricing or how to book these rooms but we're guessing they are going to be significantly higher than the standard rooms at the hotel which start at about �269 a night. Of course, we'll be on the lookout for any true sneak peeks of the DVF rooms at Claridge's. And by that we mean photos. Check back again with us on Wednesday to see what we've found.
