This doorman at the Affinia Chicago is having a much better day than the doorman at the Four Seasons Canary Wharf. We think it probably has something to do with the hat, don't you agree?

We recently stayed at The Affinia, our first time with the brand, and we'll have a full review tomorrow but we have to say, we're impressed. We loved the location off Michigan Avenue on Superior (right next to touristy deep dish spot, Gino's East) and we loved the simple modern design in the rooms. We also picked a great time to visit the hotel as its Chef Marcus Samuelson just won Top Chef Masters.

But what we loved the most is that we were able to score a junior suite here for just $160 on Quikbook, our tried and true site for great deals. All other hotels in Chi-town that we were looking at started ranged from $300 to $350. As the wise Confucius once said, "You feel better about your hotel room when you know you got a deal." Oh wait, that was us who said that.
