The package includes a one-night stay in a studio suite or duplex suite with terrace spa, Champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries, a personalized card from her favorite child, and a $50 credit at 660 restaurant. Rates for a studio suite start at $265 and ones for the duplex suite begin at $315.

· Mother Dearest
If you want to pull out all the stops for mom, head to The Pierre on New York's Upper East Side. All of your bases will be covered: she'll get continental breakfast for two at Le Caprice; a manicure, hair and makeup session; a carriage ride through Central Park, accompanied by a Harold Hechler photographer who will snap photos of the event; tea for two in two E, the hotel's lounge; and an Indian silk scarf imported from the Indian Taj Khazana boutique. The May 9 package costs $850, though you have to book it by May 6.

· Musical Mom
For moms who enjoy a good melody, One&Only Palmilla in Mexico for musical therapy, where a musician uses Pre-Columbian instruments, such as ocarinas and conch shells to teach guests how to harness the spiritual and physical benefits of sound. We're not sure who will enjoy Renaissance Hotels' Pancake Playdatepromotion more, moms or their kiddies. Children who come into one of the participating properties with their moms can order any crazy pancake combination they want, while mothers can choose from delish regional pancake specials, like New England johnnycakes with bacon grease baked into the batter at the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel, and tres leches pancakes with caramelized bananas at the Eden Roc Renaissance Miami Beach.
