The Cassa Hotel Still Not Ready to Open Its Doors

Last Friday, we ambled by the upcoming Cassa New York Hotel and Residences by their 45th Street entrance and this is what we found. Yeah, it's not gonna make that April opening date, huh?

The good news is that the exterior of the building does look finished, except for this messy entrance construction. And we quite like the look of the building.

The bad news is we can't discern any opening date. Over on the Desires Hotels website, this property is still listed as opening in 2010 and hitting up the hotel's individual website yields no clues either. So we'll put this one down for "Summer" for now.

Hotel Opening Dates

We have found that there are usually delays, particularly when it comes to installing the services, such as portable air conditioners and so on, the Whynter ARC=12S was particularly good at the last hotel we stayed.

This hotel is in a great position though so I will be checking it out on my next visit.
